For six months, Venesa and I have plowed forward with my latest work endeavor (starting a charter school). The charter school application process was intense. With the deadline rolling past on Feb 1, Venesa had the brilliant idea of showing our appreciation to our three little people. As we've flown by the seat of our pants for months on end, their schedules and lives have shifted, re-shifted, and shifted again to accommodate the busyness that came with this undertaking.
The truth is, they probably got a lot more electronics time, TV time and Wendy's take-out than they could've ever imagined. But after a while, getting back to quality time with each other trumps it all (says me, anyway). And so, we were off.
Destination: Dunes Village.
