ERT16 Day 20

Pack, load, and travel day! We've done well to keep our driving spurts to about 2.5 hours or less, but today the plan was to book it the full six hours to Oklahoma City. Until the car overheated. And we had to find a mechanic. Which led to lunch and an extended stop in some town in Kansas for which I don't even remember the name. Luckily it turned out to be nothing at all (we think the overheating was caused by the car slipping into the wrong driving gear). We made it to OKC in time for dinner and chose to check out Kevin Durant's restaurant (KD's). Fun place. From this point forward, we only have one lodging reservation made (camping in Alabama in about a week), and so for the rest of the trip we'll have to figure it out as we go. Tonight we decided to stay in a hotel in OKC. Tomorrow it's off to San Antonio.
